Joseph Lyons was a Tasmanian teacher who went on to become Australia’s 10th prime minister.

He died in office in 1939.

His wife Enid who had 12 children to educate became the first female member of cabinet in Menzies govt.

Their son Kevin , my father served in Tasmania government as deputy premier.
